Government of Assam, Irrigation Department invites eligible candidates for online application for filling up the following Vacant Posts under the establishment of Chief Engineer and Various District level Offices of Irrigation Department as stated below:-
1.Name of the Posts: Subordinate Engineer, Grade- I (Civil) [ 21 Nos]
Pay scale:- Rs.14000 -60500 Grade Pay Rs. 6800/-
Educational Qualification : Certificate of Draughtsmanship in Civil or Passed the two years course of 3 years Diploma course in Civil from a Govt. Recognized Polytechnic/Engineering Institution
2.Name of the Posts: Subordinate Engineer Grade-I (Mechanical) [ 1 No]
Pay Scale:- Rs. 14000 - 60500 Grade Pay Rs. 6800/-
Educational Qualification: Certificate of Draughtsmanship in Mechanical or Passed the two years course of 3 years Diploma course in Mechanical from a Govt. Recognized Polytechnic/Engineering Institution
3. Name of the posts: Junior Assistant (HOD Level) [23 Nos]
Pay Scale: Rs. 14000 - 60500 Grade Pay Rs. 6200
Educational qualification: Passed Degree examination in any discipline from a govt. recognized University/Institution and having Computer Knowledge ( MS Office Compulsory)
Computer knowledge: Candidate must have good working knowledge of Office productivity software tools (Independent ) of any operating system like - MS Windows, Linux Max etc.- Knowledge of Word Processor, Spreadsheet, Presentation Graphics, Concept of Database, Internet and Email. Along with Minimum 6 months Diploma in Application/Knowledge from any Govt. Recognized Institution.
4. Name of the posts: Junior Assistant (District Level) [ 159 Nos ]
Pay Scale : Rs. 14000 - 60500 Grade Pay Rs.6200
Educational Qualification: Passed Degree examination in any discipline from a govt. recognized University/Institution and having Computer Knowledge ( MS Office Compulsory)

6. Name of the posts : Power Pump Operator [ 41 Nos ]
Pay Scale : Rs. 14000 - 60500 Grade Pay - Rs. 5000
Educational Qualification: HSLC or equivalent Examination passed from any recognized Board/ council with ITI certificate in Mechanical or Electric or passed HSLC or equivalent examination with minimum 8 years experience as Helper.
7.Name of the posts: Primary Investigator [ 01 No ]
Pay scale : Rs. 14000 - 60500 Grade Pay - Rs. 6200/-
Educational qualification: HSSLC or Equivalent ( 10+2 examination ) passed from any Recognized Board/council in any stream with Mathematics as one subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 38 years of age as on 01 January 2020. Age Relaxation As per govt. rules. SC/ST 5 years, OBC 3 years.
