 Eligible Applicants from Indian Citizen as defined in article 5 to 8 of constitution of India  are Invites for   Online application in the website https://nhm.assam.gov.in for filling up 34 nos. of posts of Food Safety Officer under Commissionerate of Food Safety and Drug Administration, Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam . Below are the details-

1. Name of the Posts: Food Safety Officer  [34 posts]

Unreserved(UR): 13 Posts;  Reserved for Women(RFW) - 4 post
OBC/MOBC: 10 Posts;  Reserved for Women (RWF)- 3 Posts
SC: Nil
ST(P): 3 Posts; Reserved for Women (RWF) - 1 Post
ST(H): 2 Posts ;Reserved For Women (RWF)- 0

2. Pay Scale : Rs 22,000/- to 87,000/- PM/- with grade pay of Rs. 9,100/- PM plus other allowance as applicable from time to time as per govt. Rule.

3. Age limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2019

Age Relaxation  For Candidates : SC/ST  5 years i.e 43 years Maximum, OBC/MOBC 3 years i.e. 41 years maximum and for persons with Disabilities (PWD) by 10 years iresspective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.144/95/121 dated Dispur the 28th October 2015.

Educational Qualification: A candidate must have a Degree in Food Technology or diary Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology Or Agricultural science or Veterinary or BioChemistry or Microbiology or Master Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognized University or any other equivalent/recognized qualification notified by central government.


4: Type of Application : Online from website https://nhm.assam.gov.in

5: Application Fees: Rs. 250/- For General candidates and Rs.150/- for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H) candidates. No application fee for candidates having BPL Certificate  and PWD Certificate. 
Application fee should be deposited only through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account "0210- Medical and Public Health 01- Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipt".
